On July 19, 2021, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) renewed the CoventBridge (USA), Inc., Unified Program Integrity Contract (UPIC) in the eleven state Midwest jurisdiction. The renewal incorporates Renewal Years 5 through 9, with a Total Contract Value of $154,501,726. The Midwest UPIC team performs Program Integrity services for both Medicare, and Medicaid for the states in the jurisdiction, conducting data analytics, medical reviews, investigations and administering actions on those medical providers and other parties who may have violated the rules and requirements of CMS, resulting in the annual recovery of millions of dollars for the Trust. CoventBridge works closely with CMS, Law Enforcement and other agencies to fight fraud, waste and abuse to ensure the integrity of the program.
